Maximum Presentation time is 5 minutes and an additional 2 minutes for queries.

Maximum participants (authors) are 2 per team.

Number of slides should not exceed 12.

Mail your full paper to metiquest2k19@gmail.com with the subject line as “College name - Title of your paper”.

Full paper should be submitted within 19th February 2019.

Intimation of selection will be sent on 21st February 2019.
Poster Presentation:

TOPIC :
RECENT DEVELOPMENT AND INNOVATIONS IN MECHANICAL
-
Two members per team.
-
Poster should be in the size of A2.
-
Mention your Name and affiliation at the bottom right of poster.
-
Posters should be precise and concise.
-
Before the poster session, rehearse a brief summary of your project/poster.
-
Posters should be mounted on your assigned display board by the time your session begins.
-
Push pins (or) Velcro must be used to hang your poster.
-
Board must be oriented in the “landscape” position.
-
Use colour to enhance comprehension not to decorate the poster.
-
Figures should be numbered consecutively accordingly to the order.
-
Limit the text to 1/4th of the poster space.
Mechathon :
-
Two members per team.
-
Prelims: 20 questions will be asked. All 20 questions will be core-mechanical based (Objective – 10, Fill in the Blanks – 10).
-
5 groups will be shortlisted for the next round.
-
Connections round will be conducted and questions will also be pure mechanical.
First 2 teams will be rewarded.
CLAY modelling:

Any number of teams from a college can be registered.
-
Two members per team.
-
A preliminary round will be conducted to shortlist candidates, which will consist of questions from manufacturing technology and related concepts.
-
Clay will be provided for the final round.
-
Modelling tools will not be provided. Participants should bring their own tools.
-
Model should not consist of any pre-made components.
-
Decision of event co-ordinators is final.

CAD modelling:
-
Any number of teams from a college can be registered.
-
Two members per team.
-
A preliminary round will be conducted to shortlist candidates, which will consist of questions from Engineering graphics, CAD and related concepts.
-
Contestants will be required to model the given 2D or 3D model.
-
Software provided: AutoCAD, Solid Edge.
-
Contestants will be judged based on components and time taken for modelling.
-
Decision of event co-ordinators is final.
Technical Quiz:

Any number of teams from a college can be registered.
-
Each team can consist of a maximum of 2 members.
-
Total rounds will be 3.
-
The first round is a written preliminary. The remaining competition details will be given on the spot.
-
Team involved in any form of malpractice will be disqualified.
-
Decision made by the event co-ordinators is final.
Water Rocketry:

-
Team of 2 (or) 3 members are permitted.
-
Participants are supposed to get their own launching pads which cannot be shared with other team.
-
Pump with standard rating will be provided by organizers.
-
Rocket body should be made only with plastic bottles of aerated soft drinks of maximum capacity of 2.5 lit.
-
More than one bottle can be permitted but with the specified capacity.
-
Only water should be used in propulsion of rocket. Water will be provided by the organizers.
-
Use of electronic components and chemical explosives are banned.
-
Decision of the organizers is final.
